A pastor from Apostolic Fellowship Church located in Bukhwaku B, Bujumba location in Busia County is in serious trouble after villagers accused him of sexually defiling minors, including his own granddaughter who is said to be pregnant.
The matter came to light after angry villagers decided they had had enough of this man's behavior. They quietly gathered under a tree deep in the village to discuss what to do about him. However, before they could finish their meeting, an official from the children's office came across them and moved the whole gathering to the Marachi West Assistant County Commissioner's office where the matter could be handled properly.
The pastor himself did not go willingly. He was tricked into showing up at the office, only to find a large crowd of villagers waiting there, ready to confront him openly. They told him straight to his face that he was a wicked man who stood in front of people preaching about heaven while doing evil things in secret.
What makes this case even more disturbing is how the pastor allegedly carried out his actions. His congregation is said to be made up mostly of women and children, which gave him easy access to young victims. According to the villagers, he would announce fake church conferences and use those trips to take minors to lodgings where he would defile them. Some of the victims reportedly ended up terminating pregnancies while the pastor continued walking free without any consequences.
His own granddaughter is among the victims and is said to currently be pregnant as a result of what he allegedly did to her.
The case has now been handed over to the relevant authorities. Many in the community are hoping that this time justice will finally be served and that this man will be held fully accountable for what he is accused of doing to innocent children.
