Juja Residents Smile as Wamatangi Fixes Their Road

The long wait for good roads in Theta Ward, Juja, is finally coming to an end. Governor Kimani Wamatangi’s administration is currently working on the Kimbo-Matangi-Ini Road, and the job is moving well.

Locals know this road and for years it has been a headache. But these days, you can see county machines and workers busy patching up the worst parts. The county government says this work is part of a bigger plan to fix roads across the whole county.

For now, the county is using its own equipment and gravel dug from nearby areas to keep the road passable. This is under their programme called Boresha Barabara, which is being done in all sub-counties. But wananchi are also waiting for the national government to come in and tarmac the road properly.

Once the national government adds its plans, the road will finally become a smooth, tarmac road. Until then, the county is making sure no one gets stuck in the mud. Residents say they can already feel the difference, and they hope the tarmacking will come soon.
